Today, after just over thirty years, we are among the major European manufacturers of special equipment for cold forming of metals for the molding of screws, bolts and special parts.
The experience gained in these years of activity, the professionalism of our staff and the use of technologically advanced machinery, have allowed us to achieve a high degree of specialization in the construction of a wide range of special equipment, both in steel and in tungsten carbide, as well as a production flexibility that allows us to meet the specific needs of our customers and also to deliver small batches.

We operate respecting the territory and the surrounding environment, respecting specific procedures aimed at reducing or eliminating the possible environmental impacts and following the regulations in force on the subject (concerning the differentiation and recycling of industrial and non-industrial waste).
We are committed to reconcile company growth with the reduction of environmental impacts that derive from production activities, and we always operate respecting the criteria of maximum safety for the health of our employees and our countrymen.
Clean energy
We are members of IDROELETTRICA, a consortium of self-generation of energy from renewable sources, and we use green energy produced by plants located in Valle d'Aosta. This hydroelectric energy (guaranteed by the Eaux de la Vallée Energia Pura brand) is 100% clean, as its production derives from the transformation of the kinetic energy of water into energy, without any CO2 injection.
Also through this choice we express our sensitivity towards the environment and our interest in alternative energy sources.

We operate fulfilling the requirements of certified quality in accordance with ISO standards 9001: 2000.
We constantly pursue top quality and efficiency, aiming at a continuous improvement of all stages in our production chain.
We strive to ensure full correspondence between our products and the required services,
from the incoming inspection of the raw materials supplied by the best certified European producers, to the scheduled monitoring of every single step of the production cycle;
every single part of a batch is checked to ensure compliance with the specific requests.
The metrological control makes use of two profile detectors, two roughness testers, 4 profile projectors, 2 Rockwell durometers, 1 Vickers durometer and an optical measuring machine as well as of single bench top instruments.
Every activity in the cycle is recorded on the IT system to ensure a fast communication between the various company functions and our customers.
In order to make the transfer of information from the first to the second stage of the process faster and more constant, our technical department interacts with the production department through CAD/CAM integrated systems.
Every order is identified- through a unique identification code- with a specific production batch, to make the traceability of the product (during the productive process) and of its technical specifications easy and immediate.

We are rather ambitious, we like to think that our production target is progressively moving towards an "exclusive" market, characterized by high technological value and derived from the need to create products for particular and specific uses.
History
The purpose of the company was to respond to the needs of a new production sector, where Giorgio Minini had developed his experiences.
The company grew very quickly. In 1989 - for this reason – it moved to a 800 square meter warehouse and there was an important company reorganization (new people arrived and new machinery were bought).
In 1995 the founder Giorgio died and his son Luca succeeded him. Luca - a young and clever man of 22 years old - took over the company with the help of his sister Ambra and his mother Vincenza.
The company continued to grow in terms of turnover, machinery and personnel and it required a more suitable place for future developments.
In 2000 the new factory of 3500 square meters was designed, then finished in 2003.
The continuous growth allowed the introduction of new machines that already at the end of 2007 had allowed to renew the whole machine park with modern CNC systems.
Today MDM is a company that moves quickly into the Industry 4.0 and relies on highly specialized and constantly updated work team.
